Vienna has plenty of green space for kids to run around and play and now that the sun is actually shining, it’s time to start thinking about where to take the little ones for a swim.
Fortunately, there is no shortage of “Familienbäder” (i.e. family swimming pools) that allow kids to splish and splash at their hearts’ desire. These swimming pools are especially designed for families – you must have a child with you to enter!
Children born between 2007 and 2013 can only enter with an adult and kids born between 1999 and 2006 may swim without adult supervision. Kids born after 1999 swim for free and adults pay 2.80 Euros admission. From now through September 1, pools are open from 10am – 8pm, and from 10am-7pm between September 2 and September 15, 2013.
